Adria Hotel in Prague
It is a classic four-star hotel after an extensive reconstruction accomplished in 2003, combining the charm of the old Prague with a comfort of modern equipped rooms. The hotel’s history dates back to the 14th century, when the whole premises belonged to the Carmelitan Convent of St. Mary of the Snow.
The ideal location at the main Prague boulevard in the vicinity of the pedestrian zone of the Franciscan Garden, and its traditional hospitality has made it one of the most favorite hotels in Prague. It is located on Wenceslas Square, in the very center of Prague, in close proximity to all culture and shopping centers, offices of various corporations and airline companies. Other places significant in terms of culture or history can be reached by foot within a few minutes.
Guests can use our Lobby Bar, Triton restaurant in the art nouveau style, which is a unique architectural point of the old Prague with a wide range of domestic and international cuisine, Pluton A and Pluton B lounges, Café Neptun – a center serving breakfast in the hotel, which can also be used for conference or banquet purposes, or as a catering center for tourist groups.
In late 1996 Adria-Neptun s.r.o. purchased the Zlatá hvìzda (Golden Star) hotel in Tøebon, where the quality of service provided ranks the hotel among the top hotel facilities in south Bohemia. Its services also include providing spa services and care for local hotel guests, but also for potentially interested Adria hotel guests. In April 1999 a new sports center was opened there, where not only hotel guests can play bowling (2 lanes), darts or billiard, but also sit and chat pleasantly at the newly opened bar.
In 2002 Adria-Neptun s.r.o. started its latest activity, famous Prague restaurant "U Pinkasù" on Jungmannovo Square, only a couple of steps from the Adria hotel. The restaurant was opened after a complete reconstruction in October 2002. This typically Czech restaurant was the first in Prague to serve Plzeòský Prazdroj (Pilsner Urquell) on draught as early as 1843.
