Paroubek, 55 and Kovacova, a 34-year-old interpreter, will marry two months after Paroubek divorced from his then wife Zuzana after thirty years.
Paroubek was Czech prime minister from mid-2005 until after the mid-2006 general elections in which his CSSD finished strong second after its arch rival Civic Democrats (ODS).
Before, Paroubek was local development minister and Prague deputy mayor for financial affairs.
