Islamists in Somali alliance plan ... A suicide bomber has blown himself up close to a bus carrying school children in north-west Pakistan, wounding five children, a military spokesman said.
The attack took place near a military base at Kamra early on Monday.
The driver and a guard on the bus, which was carrying over 30 school children, were also hurt, reports said.
The attack comes a day after a suicide bomber killed at least six people, including two children, at a checkpoint in Swat Valley in the same region.
A Pakistani military spokesman told reporters that the bus carrying school children had been targeted by the attacker.
"This barbaric attack shows how cruel the terrorists are," Maj Gen Arshad Waheed was quoted as saying by the Associated Press.
Troops have been chasing a few hundred militants in the mountains in north-west Pakistan, it said.
Nearly 300 Islamists are reported to have been killed since the offensive was launched two weeks ago.
