The Indian cricket team is due to be feted at a ceremony in the capital, Delhi, on its return from Australia where it won a one-day series.
India lost two of their first three games in the series, including one against Sri Lanka, who lost last April's World Cup final to Australia.
But the team pipped Sri Lanka for a place in the best-of-three finals series, going on to beat Australia 2-0.

'Fabulous victory'
Thousands of fans are expected to gather at a stadium in Delhi to greet the winning Indian team.
Reports say there will be a song and dance show and the cricketers will be taken around the ground in golf carts.
Appeals to parade the cricketers through the streets of Delhi on the way to the stadium have been rejected by Indian cricket officials.
"Everyone wants to get back home now," an official said.
Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh complimented the team on its victory.
"It is a fabulous victory. This is victory based on teamwork and strong determination," he said.
The Indian cricket board has announced cash awards to the members of the winning team.
