Apart from the rise in the intelligence staff, Langer demands that the funding of the intelligence service rise by almost 18 million crowns. Seven new experts should join the intelligence anti-terrorist section, and another 39 are to reinforce the section dealing with energetic, economic and IT security. Langer says in his proposal submitted to the government that the economic dependence on Russia may become a serious problem for the Czech Republic, above all in connection with the oil and gas supplies and prices, as that there is a risk of Russia trying to control the key Czech power utilities, Lidove noviny writes.
