Abbas breaks contact with Israel ... Palestinian officials said the talks, announced just hours before they were held, did not indicate a crisis. The Palestinian leader will be meeting in Washington with President George W. Bush and other US officials who are interested in boosting Israeli-Palestinian peace talks.
