Islamist town 'bombed' in Somalia ... six British Muslim men for supporting terrorism in speeches made at a city mosque.
They received jail sentences ranging from two to four and a half years. In 2004 the men used speeches at London's Regents Park Mosque to call on people to fight British and American forces in Iraq and to donate money to fund terrorism. British police discovered incriminating video tapes of some of the speeches during searches of a property in a central London home two years ago. The defendants were all members of an extreme Islamist group, which has since been banned.
