In all, 14 million crowns will go to the Czech Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT) in Afghanistan and 36 million crowns to finance civilian projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Iraq, Kosovo, Liberia, and Palestine. It is not yet clear to what missions the remaining 65 million crowns will go.
According to the Foreign Ministry, the decision will be made later. Last year the government earmarked 37 million crowns for civilian missions in Afghanistan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Iraq, Kosovo, Liberia, Moldova and Palestine. Czech experts recently left for the Logar province in Afghanistan where about 200 soldiers and ten civilian experts have operated as of mid-March.
