Germany's largest bank, Deutsche Bank, has posted its first quarterly loss in five years.
Deutsche Bank recorded a loss of 141 million euros, mostly as a result of a 2.7 billion euro writedown in the value of assets as a result of the global financial crisis. In the same period last year, the bank made a record profit of more than 2.1 billion euros.
