US Democratic presidential hopefuls Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are fighting for the last two major electoral prizes as the Indiana and North Carolina primaries get underway.
The two states are the largest remaining in the four-month campaign between the two rivals to win the Democratic nomination. A record voter turnout is expected.
