There are fears that the death toll in Burma from Saturday's cyclone Nargis could continue to rise dramatically.
The German aid organisation ADRA has estimated that over 50,000 people were killed by the storm, based on its local knowledge and a visit by a reconnaissance team to the Irrawaddy Delta region. Meanwhile, the United States' top diplomat to Burma has warned that the death toll could be as high as 100,000 because of the large number of people still missing.
