Italian police say they have arrested several mafia suspects linked to the murder of six Italians in the German city of Duisburg last year.
It has not been confirmed whether the suspects are directly connected to the Duisburg shootings, but they belong to the feuding clans that are believed to be behind the killings. The clans are part of the 'ndrangheta' organised crime syndicate based in the southern Italian region of Calabria. The two clans have been involved in a violent dispute since the 1990s.
