The Commonwealth has readmitted Pakistan after a meeting of key ministers in London.
Pakistan was suspended from the councils of the 53-nation group of former British colonies when President Pervez Musharraf declared emergency rule last November. The Commonwealth had said Islamabad violated its fundamental values. The suspension meant Pakistan were banned from Commonwealth meetings and group aid and cooperation projects were halted in the country.
