Earlier this year, Justice Minister Jiri Pospisil (the Civic Democratic Party, (ODS) called on Nagy to immediately resign and leave the judiciary. "Pospisil has welcomed it that Nagy reacted to his appeal, resigned and resolved his situation," Kuncova said. Some time ago, Nagy missed court proceedings, but fabricated and registered a final defence speech in the protocol and issued a verdict as if the proceedings had really taken place. In addition, Nagy was criticised by his superiors for numerous delays. Nagy argued that he suffered from stress and that his behaviour was caused by symptoms of a disease. He said he suffered from the apnoea syndrome that causes the cessation of breathing during sleep for a couple of seconds. The disease can provoke insomnia, depression and feeling of anxiety. In March, Pospisil filed a criminal complaint against Nagy for forgery and abuse of power.
