Three British soldiers in Afghanistan have been killed in a suicide bombing on their foot patrol in the country's Upper Sangin Valley. A fourth soldier was injured in the attack, which brings Britain's military death toll from its deployment to Afghanistan to 100 people.
Britain has about 4,000 soldiers stationed in Afghanistan, where the Taliban have been waging an insurgency since being ousted from power in the 2001 US-led invasion.
