The contingent will have 63 soldiers. According to contingent commander Miroslav Brazda, Uruzgan, Kandahar and Helmand are the three Afghan provinces that are most threatened by militants' attacks. The Czech mission will cost 110 million crowns. The Czech military has reinforced its units in Afghanistan this year. Its Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT) which is composed of 200 soldiers and 10 civilian experts operates in Logar. Czechs also work in a 100-member field hospital in Kabul. One Czech soldier recently died in a suicide attack in Helmand and one from a bomb blast in Logar.
