Jakubkova and Zubova oppose a change to the lower house order of procedure in this respect. They said they would submit a proposal to solve the situation at a meeting of the deputy group and if the group did not deal with it, they would consider leaving the group. "The SZ should respect a proportional representation of the parties in committees on the basis of Czech opposition CSSD expects no-confidence in three weeks ...
Cunek returns to govt after settling dispute with ForMin - PM ... the election results," Zubova and Jakubkova said in their statements on the pondered change to the order of procedure, released to reporters during the party's deputy group meeting today. Both deputies criticised insufficient communication among the Greens. However, Greens deputy group head Katerina Jacques pointed out that exactly these two deputies participated in the group's work less actively than the others. Jakubkova told reporters that she would submit a proposal that might solve the dispute about the lower house posts, but she refused to release any details to journalists before showing it to her party colleagues. Jakubkova and Zubova last week refused to replace Jacques at the deputy group's helm as she may become a new lower house deputy head. The SZ is the smallest parliamentary party with only six deputies.
Since two of them, SZ chairman Martin Bursik and Ondrej Liska, are in the coalition cabinet with the Civic Democrats (ODS) and the Christian Democrats (KDU-CSL), only deputy Premysl Rabas could become the new deputy group head. Bursik occupies the post of deputy PM and environment minister and Ondrej Liska is heading the Education Ministry. Foreign Minister Karel Schwarzenberg, unaffiliated, was also nominated by the Greens.
