Kenyan aviation officials say the crash of a light plane has killed a cabinet minister and an assistant minister.
They've been identified as Roads Minister Kipkalya Kones and assistant homes affairs minister Lonar Laboso. Also killed were a security guard and the pilot. The Cessna aircraft crashed near the town of Narok in the west of Kenya. The ministers were heading to the Rift Valley region to witness parliamentary by-elections on Wednesday. The polls are seen as a test of Kenya's fledgling government coalition in the wake of December's general elections which were married by violence.
