The secretary general of Zimbabwe's main opposition party will be charged with treason, police have said.
Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) official Tendai Biti was arrested in Harare on his return from South Africa.
Party leader Morgan Tsvangirai was also detained briefly while campaigning, before being released.
It was the third time Mr Tsvangirai had been arrested this month. He faces President Robert Mugabe in a run-off poll on 27 June.
