Zimbabwe's President Robert Mugabe has vowed that the opposition movement for Democratic Change will never rule the country in his life time.
Referring to the country's war of independence, Mugabe said that he and his Zanu PF party would be prepared to fight to retain power. Mugabe and MDC leader Morgan Tsvangirai contest a run-off presidential election on June 27. Meanwhile, Tsvangirai has been detained again by police. The MDC said he was arrested at a road block with his campaign team.
