Saturday's quake sheared off hillsides, jolted buildings and even caused a leak of radioactive water at a nuclear power plant. The plant's operator said however, the leak was small and did not pose a threat. Officials say some 200 people are injured and at least eight people are still missing. The quake has been followed by some 153 aftershocks. Military helicopters have swarmed the quake zone 400 kilometers north of Tokyo, ferrying in supplies and flying the injured to hospital.
