Kosovo's new constitution is entering into force this Sunday, four months after the tiny Balkan country formally split from Serbia. The new charter sets the stage for Kosovo's ethnic Albanian majority eventually to take over governance from a nine-year-old United Nations mission.

Czech PM wants government to recognise Kosovo on Wednesday -press ... will be the introduction of a 2,000-strong European Union police and justice mission. The force is aimed at paving the way for a multi-ethnic police force and judiciary capable of soothing tensions between the country's Albanian and Serbian ethnicities.
