United States President George W.
Bush has arrived in Britain on the final stop of his so called "farewell" tour of Europe. In an interview with the Observer newspaper ahead of his arrival, Mr. Bush called on Britain not to set a timetable for its withdrawal from Iraq, arguing against recent speculation that Britain could pull its forces out by the end of the year. Bush and his wife Laura have met with Queen Elizabeth and will later have dinner with Prime Minister Gordon Brown. Bush's partings with the leaders of Germany, France and Italy this week all saw him win support for pressuring Iran over its nuclear programme.
