European Union foreign ministers have promised to keep the bloc's reform treaty alive, despite its rejection by Irish voters last week.
The monthly ministers' summit in Luxembourg was the first opportunity to discuss the crisis brought on by Ireland's referendum last Thursday. The Lisbon Treaty, which aims to streamline decision making processes in the EU, needs the backing of all 27 members of the bloc to be adopted.
