Turkey's Hamas says captured Israeli soldier not part of any truce deal ...
In the slow lane ... foreign minister has said that indirect peace talks between Israel and Syria held in Turkey on Sunday and Monday were a success.
Turkish Foreign Minister Ali Babacan said after a meeting with EU diplomats in Luxembourg that two more sessions have been planned for July. Babacan characterised the indirect talks as an "exchange of views" between the two sides. Syria and Israel have not held direct peace talks since 2000, when negotiations collapsed because of a dispute over the future of the Golan Heights, which Israel captured during the 1967 Six-Day War.
