Almost one-third of Czechs are satisfied with the work of the government (32 percent) and the parliament (31 percent), which is 7 percent more than in the previous poll conducted in March. People have been dissatisfied with the general political situation for a long time. Only 22 percent of respondents said they were satisfied with it, which is two percentage point less than in May, shows the poll conducted on 1277 respondents over 18 in June. Twenty-nine percent are of the view that the president's work is fairly bad and 9 percent say very bad. Voters of the right-wing parties are more frequently satisfied with the government and other constitutional bodies. The most satisfied group are supporters of the senior ruling Civic Democrats (ODS), 91 percent of whom trust the president, 74 percent trust the government and 61 percent the parliament. However, almost two-thirds of supporters of the junior government Greens (SZ) and the Christian Democrats (KDU-CSL) expressed objections to the government's work. Followers of the opposition Social Democrats (CSSD) and the Communists (KSCM) mostly criticise constitutional institutions. Nevertheless, 29 percent of KSCM and over a half of CSSD voters are satisfied with the president. In May, 45 percent of KSCM supporters assessed the president positively. Out of those discontented with the political situation, 36 percent are definitely dissatisfied with it and 42 percent are fairly dissatisfied. Voters of the right-wing parties, mainly the ODS, tend to assess the political situation more positively, while 95 percent of KSCM and 90 percent of CSSD supporters are dissatisfied with it. Young people, qualified employees and respondents with higher education prevail among those satisfied with politics. On the other hand, citizens over 60, people with primary education and manual workers asses the political situation rather negatively.
