Zupljanin, who was arrested last week near Belgrade after being on the run for nine years, was a former aide to Radovan Karadzic. The Bosnian Serb wartime leader remains at large along with former military chief Ratko Mladic. On Friday a Belgrade court rejected an appeal against extradiction lodged by Zupljanin who becomes the 43 Serb suspect sent to The Hague. Serbia's cooperation has been a key condition for closer ties with the European Union.
