Overshadowing Friday's match were clashes in Mostar in Bosnia-Herzegovina between Bosnian Croat fans backing Croatia and Bosnian-Muslim fans backing Turkey. Police used teargas to separate the groups. Dozens of injured, including four policemen, were treated in hospital.
