Czechs do not like cash payments in health care apart from their health insurance.
"People expect that all their health problems to be solved by somebody else and desirably for free if they pay health insurance," Stanislav Vachek, analyst of the Round table on the future of the health care system's funding project.

Czech households spent 1.5 times more on tobacco, alcohol and other unhealthy habits than on health.
Vachek indicated that it showed that the health spending could increase within the health care reform at the expense of the money spent on cigarettes and alcohol.
The project's coordinator Ondrej Matl said the 300-page report described the main problems of the health care system.
In near future, health care funding may be markedly influenced by population ageing and the ensuing need of long-term care.
The report revealed that differences between Czech regions in the care offered, money invested in the care and the quality of health have been growing.
Matl said further increase in these differences should be prevented.
Matl said the report was the first step mapping the situation and showing what should be changed.
