Zubova and Jakubkova demanded that all group meetings be open for members of the party leadership and its national council. They also want the group not to decide by a majority vote, but through consensus. Zubova and Jakubkova said their decision reacted to the latest situation after the opposition Social Democrat (CSSD) deputies' group had been left by another deputy, Petr Wolf, at the weekend. Zubova and Jakubkova dismissed the information that they had consulted the Social Democrats on their steps. "The speculations that have surfaced must be considered warning as they strongly and negative influence the public in relation to the Czech politics," Zubova and Jakubkova said in a statement passed to journalists. Disputes among the Greens, the smallest government coalition party, have lasted for a long time. Zubova and Jakubkova complain that party leadership does not communicate with them. Katerina Jacques resigned as chairwoman of the deputies' group and Zubova stepped down as the group's deputy chairwoman earlier this month. The Greens have six deputies in the 200-member Chamber of Deputies.
