Israeli forces have killed two Palestinians, including an Islamic Jihad commander, in the West Bank city of Nablus.
It was the first fatal raid since a ceasefire took hold in the Gaza Strip last week. Separately, the Israeli army reported that Palestinians fired a mortar shell into Israel from Gaza overnight, the first violation of the truce since it went into effect last Thursday. No one was hurt by the shell and there was no immediate claim of responsibility.
