Earlier today, MPs Olga Zubova and Vera Jakubkova said they had abandoned the intention to leave the group. According to available information from the meeting not all internal disputes have been settled yet. The SZ deputies today discussed the conditions set by Zubova and Jakubkova last week for their remaining in the group. in the future be made by the SZ deputies by a consensus and not by a majority vote. The two deputies also demanded that all group meetings be open to party members and members of its national council. They said that the SZ deputies should abide by the resolutions adopted by the party leadership and should make their decisions on the basis of the SZ election platform, the coalition agreement and the government's policy statement. Zubova and Jakubkova threatened to leave the group over disputes with Greens leader Martin Bursik and former group's chairwoman Jacques. Zubova and Jakubkova dismissed the information that they had consulted the senior opposition Social Democrats on their steps. "The speculations that have surfaced must be considered warning as they strongly and negative influence the public in relation to the Czech politics," Zubova and Jakubkova said in a statement passed to journalists. Disputes among the Greens, the smallest government coalition party, have lasted for a long time. Zubova and Jakubkova complain that party leadership does not communicate with them. Bursik said today he welcomed their decision as the group now could return to its usual work in the Chamber of Deputies.
