Pirates have siezed four European citizens including a German man, his French partner and their young son, from a yacht off Somalia's coast.

France Hit by Strike Action ... Monday as they sailed through the Gulf of Aden. The kidnappers then abandoned the yacht on the shore and took the hostages into a nearby mountainous area. An official said Puntland Security forces are pursuing the pirates. Piracy is rife off Somalia, on the coast of the Horn of Africa. In April French troops rescued the crew of a French luxury yacht and captured some of the pirates involved.
