A Kurdish broadcaster based in Denmark has been banned from Germany and been stripped of its broadcasting licence here.
The German Interior Ministry said that Roj TV was a mouthpiece of the Kurdish Workers Party PKK, which is outlawed in Germany, and had encouraged viewers to become guerrillas. Roj's production company based in the western city of Wuppertal has also been dissolved.
