United Nations nuclear investigators say their initial probe of a suspected Syrian nuclear site has proved inconclusive.
The deputy head of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Olli Heinonen, said he was satisfied with the results of his team's four day trip, but that more work needed to be done. The IAEA was allowed to enter Syria to investigate United States allegations that Damascus was building a secret nuclear reactor at a complex which Israel bombed nine months ago. Syria insists it has no nuclear program and denies orchestrating a cover up of the al-Kibar site in the country's northeast.
