By Piers Newbery at Wimbledon
1100: Away from the main courts there are plenty of interesting matches around today. I fancy the look of Tipsarevic against Tursunov on Court Two, and Caroline's dark horse Marin Cilic will try to overcome that burden against Paul-Henri Mathieu on Court 11, which will also host Wife 'died a hero' in Afghanistan ...
Nadal defeats Djokovic at Queen's ...
Federer suffers early Rome exit ...
Under scrutiny ... Dinara Safina against Shahar Peer.
1058: Great scenes on Court 14 a Barry Cowan bravely steps up to the net to face a barrage of passig shots from a sucession of opponents no taller than the net. Bazza soon beats a hasty retreat.
1054: "Anyone joining the queue now is unlikely to get in before 5."

1051: "Piers you sound like a jedi saying you can sense sarah... should we refer to you as obi wan newbery?"
From returnofthesweatband on 606 (Let it be so)
1047: The official weather forecast is in: "The sunshine will continue through the afternoon with temperatures reaching 23 Celsius, a little higher than yesterday."
1040: The gates are open and there's plenty of activity around the All England Club, not least on Court 14 where the Wimbledon Junior Tennis Initiative is in full swing. Tiny, enthusiastic people are haring about picking up balls, swooshing racquets and making me feel old, the little blighters. Barry Cowan is keeping a watchful eye on proceedings.
1034: It's lucky I had the day off yesterday as I'm not sure I could have withstood the shock of losing Ana Ivanovic the day after Maria Sharapova. "At the end, Ivanovic was making some wild shots and she looked a bit uncomfortable," said Tracy Austin. "That was down to the pressure. She goes from being tentative to going for big shots when completely off balance." If Gisela Dulko loses to Elena Dementieva today, I may well copy her boyfriend Fernando Gonzalez and chuck my trainers in the bin in protest.
1028: "Any sign of the BBC Sport's mole this morning, or is he still recovering from his day off yesterday?"
From readie111 on 606 (He will be back today, ready to resume hassling poor Greg)
1026: "Keothavong has two doubles matches today separated by a single match?"
From BrutalLogiC on 606 (Indeed she does - a doubles with Melanie South on Court Three, a quick break for another ladies' doubles, then back onto the same court for a mixed with Ross Hutchins)
1022: Those of you looking in yesterday will have noticed it was ladies' day on Commmentary Box Three as Caroline and Sarah held the fort magnificently during a long day, and they will be back soon for some more. Marat Safin was the star in last night's gloom and melancholy Russian said afterwards: "You don't want to have a lot of expectations because when you start to have a lot of expectations, you just end up losing to God know's who." That's the spirit, Marat.
1018: "Delightfully international atmosphere out here in the queue. Can't hear another british accent anywhere! The sun and breeze are keeping spirits up. Is Sarah around today? I want to meet your assistant."
From Matt, via text, on 81111 (She's on her way, I can sense it)
1013: Mark Petchey on Murray: "Even if Andy was to get through today's match he would probably have Richard Gasquet next - last year's semi-finalist and looking very sharp so far - so I wouldn't get ahead of myself and start thinking about a quarter-final with Nadal yet."
1008: Would you credit it? Michael Stich has only gone and tipped fellow German Tommy Haas to beat Murray. I don't know, football, tennis... they want it all. "If both players play their best tennis, I would still pick Tommy to win," said 1991 champion Stich. "It's a 50-50 chance but I think Tommy is the player with more experience."
1002: We have another great line-up today, with Andy Murray against Tommy Haas the highlight in the second match on Centre Court. They follow our first look on Centre at Jelena Jankovic - the top seed remaining in the women's draw after Ana Ivanovic's exit yesterday. She takes on highly-rated Danish teenager Caroline Wozniacki in the first match at 1300 BST, while the indestructible Rafael Nadal and entertainingly unhinged Nicolas Kiefer round things off.
1001: As my colleagues will confirm, I always bring a bit of sunshine with me and today is no different. It's a beautiful day and yesterday's brief rain interruptions were surely just a blip.
0958: Morning all, a more gentle start today as I'm well aware you're all at home, in your underwear, eating cereal and watching cooking-based television. Early sights on my way through the grounds - bleary-eyed public school kids making thier way to concession stands, grounsdstaff sunbathing/sleeping on the very enticing grass verge by Court Six, a lot more police at the gates than usual, and umpires and line judges enjoying a relaxing breakfast in the wonderfully-named "Officials' Buttery". I'm sure they're not really.
- We'll be here throughout the day to bring you the latest news from around the All England Club, both on the courts and off, so whether you're settling down at home, stuck in the office or queuing on Church Road, send us your thoughts.
