In sports: The captain of Germany's national soccer team, Michael Ballack, may miss this Sunday's final of the European championship. This, after a recurring calf injury prevented the Chelsea midfielder from taking part in the team's final training session. German head coach Joachim Lцw told reporters in Vienna that should Ballack fail to recover in time for the final, either Tim Borowski or Bastian Schweinsteiger could replace him in his attacking midfield role.
