Colombian politician and former hostage Ingrid Betancourt has sent a message of encouragement to all remaining hostages still in the hands of FARC rebels.
Just days after her rescue by the Colombian army, she went on Colombian radio to say that she would continue to work for the release of some 700 hostages. Betancourt also said that French President Nicolas Sarkozy would also keep working for their release. She sent the message from Paris where she's recuperating from six years of captivity by the Colombian leftist rebel group. Doctors gave her a clean bill of health on Saturday.
