Steinmeier criticizes Russian contacts with breakaway regions ... died and six were wounded when an explosion rocked a cafe in Georgia's pro-Russian separatist province of Abkhazia. Interfax news agency said the blast occurred late Sunday in the town of Gali, killing a regional security head and a translator working for a UN mission.
This was the fifth such incident in the last week in or near Abkhazia. Abkhazian officials routinely accuse Georgia of responsibility for violence in the Black Sea province, claiming the central government is preparing to attempt to take control of the province by force.
