Italian cyclist Riccardo Ricco from the Saunier Duval team has won the ninth stage of the Tour de France.
On a stage with two category 1 climbs, Ricco needed five hours, 38 minutes and 29 seconds. It was his second stage victory of this tour. Luxembourg's Kim Kirchen retained the overall leader's yellow jersey.
