Pope Benedict XVI has arrived in Australia where he will preside over World Youth Day, a major annual event in the Catholic Church. Two major topics the pope hopes to address are climate change and the problem of sexual abuse by priests.
The highlight of Benedict's Australian tour will be an open-air mass next Sunday. A half-a-million Catholics are expected to attend.
