Sudan's President Omar al-Bashir has dismissed a move to have him indicted for genocide in Dafur.

Taylor's vice president testifies ... the court, Luis Moreno Ocampo, said he had invited a panel of judges to review his request to indict the Sudanese leader, whom he directly blamed for crimes against humanity. A joint United Nations/African Union peacekeeping mission in Dafur has said it will evacuate its non-essential staff, fearing retaliation. The move is reported to affect almost 3,000 police and civilian staff.
