US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice has confirmed a shift in the Whitehouse's Iran policy.
Rice said the US will send a senior envoy to Geneva for nuclear talks with Iran's top negotiator, Saeed Jalili on Saturday. She insisted however that Tehran must suspend its enrichment and reprocessing of nuclear materials before Washington would engage in substantive talks.
